What we collect
Two forms on this site collect personal data, and nothing else on the site does.
Company or name, website, work email, category, competitors you name, and anything you type in the optional question field. Submitted at /check-my-company.
Your name, email address, chosen topic and message. Submitted at /contact.
Both forms also record the originating IP address with the submission. It is kept for one purpose — recognising and blocking automated abuse of the forms — and is never used to profile you or build an audience.
We do not ask for, and have no way to receive, payment card details through this site. When an audit proceeds to payment we send a checkout link, and the card is handled by the payment processor, not by us.
What we do with it
What you send is used to answer you, and for nothing else. An audit request is used to scope and deliver that audit. A contact message is used to reply to that message.
Your email address is not added to a mailing list, is not enriched against third-party data, and is not sold, rented or shared for marketing by anyone, including us. If you want the weekly digest, you have to ask for it.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no advertising network, no tracking pixel, no session cookie and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Aggregate traffic is measured with Ahrefs Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or follow visitors between sites. It reports page-level totals — how many people opened a page, roughly where in the world from, and which link brought them. None of it identifies you, and none of it is joined to anything you submit through a form.
Who else touches the data
The people and services that can see personal data you submit, and no others:
- Our own server. Submissions are written to disk on the machine that serves this site, and are readable only by the site operator.
- An email relay, which delivers the notification carrying your submission to our inbox.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form submission came from a person rather than a script. It receives the challenge response and your IP address, not the contents of your message.
- A payment processor, only if you proceed to buy something, and only for the details you give it directly.
Model providers — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google — receive the category prompts that produce the public scores. Those prompts are category questions and never contain anything you submitted through a form.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for twelve months afterwards, so that a follow-up has context. Audit requests are kept for as long as we are contractually obliged to keep the record of a sale, and otherwise for twenty-four months.
Ask for earlier deletion and we delete it, without asking why.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, those are your rights under the GDPR, along with the rights to restrict or object to processing and to portability. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Our lawful basis for handling audit requests is performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before one. For contact messages and abuse prevention it is legitimate interests — answering the person writing to us, and keeping the forms usable.
Write to info@fameproof.com and a person answers, usually within one business day. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with the answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
If you are on a leaderboard
The public boards carry measurements about 293 companies, football clubs and public figures who did not ask to be listed. Those entries are measurements of publicly available AI model output about public roles and organisations — the same category of publication as a chart or a league table — and the personal data involved is limited to a name, a professional field, a country and, for companies, a website.
Ask for a listing to be removed and it is removed, whether or not you explain why and whether or not we agree that we were obliged to. Ask for a correction and we re-run the panel. Use the contact form or write to info@fameproof.com.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it and the previous version is available on request.
