AI visibility tracking · 293 entities measured weekly

The AI visibility tool that shows you the answer, not just the score

When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini for a recommendation in your category, the answer names two to four brands. Fameproof measures whether you are one of them — every week, across every model, with the prompts and the answers published underneath the number.

Free public leaderboards. No account, no trial, no card to look around.

Your analytics cannot see this happening

When a model recommends a competitor instead of you, nothing arrives in your analytics. There is no impression, no lost click, no ranking that slipped. The visit simply never happens, and the first sign is a pipeline that thinned out for reasons nobody can name.

That is what makes AI visibility different from every channel you already measure: the failure is silent. The only way to see it is to ask the models the questions your buyers ask, and record what comes back.

How the measurement works

The same four steps run against every entity on the public boards and against every brand we monitor privately.

01Ask

Your category, not your name

A panel of 24 questions is built for the market you actually compete in — the questions a buyer types before they know who you are. None of them name you. A prompt that names you guarantees a mention and measures nothing.

02Measure

Every question, 4 times, every model

Each question is asked repeatedly on each model, because a single answer is a coin flip. We record whether you were named, and where in the answer you landed — being fourth is not the same as being the recommendation.

03Score

One number you can track

Mention rate, prominence, topic coverage and run-to-run consistency combine into a 0–100 index. Each model keeps its own sub-score, so a brand that is strong on one model and invisible on another can see exactly that.

04Fix

The prompts you lose, and to whom

The number is the start. The report names the competitor taking each prompt you lose, the factual errors the models repeat about you, and the sources they cite instead of your site.

Last completed run: 5 August 2026, scoring ChatGPT, Gemini. Read the full methodology — including what this index deliberately does not claim.

See it before you buy it

Most tools in this category ask for an email before showing you anything. The entire measurement is already public here: 293 entities, scored, with the prompt-by-prompt evidence on every page.

AI visibility vs. traditional SEO

They are not the same discipline, and treating them as one is why most brands cannot answer the question at all.

Rankings by category

Every measured market has its own public board. If yours is here, your competitors' scores already are too.

Questions people ask before buying

What is an AI visibility tool?

An AI visibility tool measures how often AI assistants name your brand in answers to questions that do not mention you. Traditional rank tracking cannot see this: there is no ranking to check and no referrer in your analytics when a model recommends a competitor instead of you. A visibility tool asks the models the questions your buyers ask, repeatedly, and records who gets named.

How do I check if ChatGPT mentions my brand?

Asking ChatGPT once tells you almost nothing — model output varies between runs, versions and phrasings, so a single screenshot is closer to a coin flip than a finding. A usable check needs a fixed set of category questions asked repeatedly across models on a schedule. That is what the Fameproof panel does, and what the free leaderboards publish for 293 companies, clubs and public figures.

Is AI visibility the same as GEO or AEO?

GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization) are names for the work of improving how AI systems present you. AI visibility is the measurement that tells you whether that work is doing anything. One is the discipline; the other is the number it moves.

Which AI models does Fameproof measure?

The panel is built for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini; the most recent completed run scored ChatGPT and Gemini. Each model is scored separately as well as combined, because they disagree — the same category question routinely produces different brand lists on different models, and the fixes for each are different.

How much does it cost?

The public leaderboards are free and always will be. Weekly monitoring of your own brand with competitor benchmarking is $99/month. A one-off written audit, with the full prompt table, factual-error report and a prioritised fix list, is $299.

How long does it take to move an AI visibility score?

Changes to your own pages — stating your category plainly, publishing the pricing, compliance and support facts that decision-stage prompts ask about — can show up within a measurement cycle or two. Third-party coverage and independent citations move slower and matter more. Model updates also move scores on their own, which is why a baseline and a schedule matter more than any single reading.

Find out where you sit.

We run your category's panel against every model and send back the full audit — the prompts you lose, who wins them, and the sources the models cite instead of you. Three business days, $299, nothing charged until the scope is agreed.
